Yep...
Chris.... Updates to come in the next day ir two... Currently sleeping half of monday off due to a hangover..
But in a nutshell, slowest time of the weekend was 41. something in the wet... Got down to 35.66 with my best time on race 1 this morning. I held first position in the class all day today until i had an off...cars ok and in one piece. Held onto first position and even the commentators on the hill said id probably won the class......until the final run of the day by the caterham id been battling with all weekend... He beat me with a time of 35.55.............Yes he took first place by .10 of a second, and he did that in the first 60 yards.. We collected print offs of the splits after every run so could see exactly where i won or lost time... He had a quaife LSD and a 1 month old Nitron suspension set up that cost 2k...im running a crappy old ford non lsd diff and Spax suspension that was put on the car in 2001. He basically got away quicker at the start line than me...
Hes been racing shelsley for 20 years and congratulated me on giving him the best competition hes had for years!! Ive been racing shelsley 1 day hes been doing it 20 years!!!.. 8-)
Sorry for no updates.. My phone battery died on friday night and ive been camping all weekend with no charger...
Photos and videos of me spinning out at 82mph on bottom S bend to come..
What a weekend guys.... A dream come true... Cannot believe ive just raced Shelsley Walsh and by the blink of an eye missed out on first place...
Thanks so much for the support pete parker and Paul..also huge thanks to jay for the phone calls and my other friends and famile for coming today...
Next stop Gurston Down 8-)

A 'proper' LSD will make a very big difference to the car although you may not like it too much on the road. A Quaife ATB is a half-way house which is better on the road than a proper LSD and better on the track than a open diff.

And congrats. A bit more training/experience and a better setup would see you in front of the Caterham man.

Yep, excellent result, just goes to show how much difference having the "right" parts doesn't make

Good luck at Gursten Down

Well done lee , do you need the £2k setup if you lost time on the start and not corners ?? Was your launch control working ? Can you not invest in the initial start ?? Remap ? Maybe the diff would be good if you went lower or higher for a quicker start ?? (Never remember which way is better for bottom end) brakes all good ?
Gotta say that is a dream come true, I’m sure if you asked anyone if they’d ant to race they’d say yes and to get that position..... awesome!!!
At least you have something to aim for on your next outing :D
Big hands up to you mate.
