Did we have fun? The whole team enjoyed it and had a ball including Lee who filled in brilliantly in the pit stop crew. His partner Laura and the team WAGs added some glamour to our pit garage. As for me, cuddles from the pit girls, interviewed for the tv coverage, glass or two of champagne, finding out I am not the slowest on the grid disputes the wet conditions and a couple of glory overtakes on the start finish straight so the pit crew could see them .

We came 13th out of 28 which is great. The car is intact other than a bash on the back when someone hit me when he lost control. Chuffed.

What was not so good? Our pit stops are not very slick, mostly down to the drivers. We need to to do something about that. To be fair it is quite frantic coming in. You have to fire the car into the pits brake hard flick the pit speed limiter, loosen the seat belts, u do the seat belts, disconnect the radio, change down to neutral, stop the car on the mark, move the seat back, and dive out with my booster cushion.

I will post up some pics and when I have them and the tv coverage when I know.

What you need for your pit stops is similar sized drivers, so no booster cushions,
to think of it, im a similar size to you Paul

Can you not get out of the passenger side? so that the incoming driver is already sitting down while you exit the other side, ive seen it done in some classes
