Very delighted on the rollers today
The Fun Cup engines are dynoed at 130 bhp give or take 2bhp and sealed. On the rollers today it started at 122 bhp and left the rollers with 137 bhp
I have also lost 7 lbs in weight which is more than a gallon of fuel! Running out of excuses and haven’t even turned a wheel

Spa will not be this year Lee as the cost is heavy I also need to upgrade my license to race aboard (I hope to have this done for the forth round at Zandvoort). We hope to do the Spa 25 hours next year. We will need to recruit an extra driver or two for that

David they just rejetted the carb. As a result it does not tick over very well so tickover is set at 1200 rpm. I do not think this is a problem as it will only be at tickover for a very short time hopefully

Dick the engine is sealed as ie the inlet manafold. The exhaust manifold and carb are free so we have done nothing wrong and have not broken any rules
Regarding the fuel starvation issue we have ordered a new bag tank as it is the foam is braking down and blocking the fuel pipe when going round right hand corners on full throttle. We will not have a chance to test it so will have to live with it

We had a small amount of, what we think is foam in the filter. But the issue is on fast right hand bends and then down the straight. We have guessed that this means the foam is loose in the tank and fouling the fuel pickup in the tank. once it is getting sucked in then it stays there.
The bag tank is quite old and if we are to race on the continent we need a bag that in date so hopefully it fixes the problem.
