The superstars from Snodhurst are turning up tomorrow to remove the bodywork, change wheels, load it in the trailer and transport it to Competition Fabrication in Thetford on Thursday. Then they are collecting it next week with the ROPS changes done.
My thanks to Dick, Jay and the boys/girls as always

Re: Collecting the Zeus
First event is the 13th May even if I have to get lifted into the damn thing
British Sprint Championship round at Lydden on the 14th July. No hospitality so you'll need to buy your own burger & chips but it should be a good day out.

Re: Collecting the Zeus
Car is back (thanks to Dick and Jay) and the ROPS modifications are done. I need to paint the ROPS, clean the car and then put all the bits that where taken off back together.
Painting while on crutches and bent over a race car with a 3/4 L can of Hammerite, open, seems like a recipe for disaster so I'll wait till next weekend when I should be out of the cast.
In the background I'm also doing battle with the MSA to get the ROPS certified. The other chassis needs to be test at MIRA which I'm currently trying to arrange.

Re: Collecting the Zeus
Do you have a tentative idea when you might be able to get into it for a sprint Jeff? June?

Re: Collecting the Zeus
Well I can stand on it now, in the cast. Been almost 6 weeks since the break so another 2 makes it 8 weeks. Left foot braking takes care of most of the problems so just left with the throttle on the right leg.
If Billy Monger can do it...
