The Ultima just gets through the static test. But a short shift meant the drive past was not a problem and did not make any difference to the lap time for a trackday.
I would go for it and 82 dB should not be a problem. Go for it

Re: Track day - Cadwell Park - Sun 3rd Dec
Late update, but thought I'd post how the track day went on Sunday 3rd December.
It was superb!
I'd over-nighted in a hotel about 12 miles from the circuit - the Full English breakfast served the next morning put me in fine spirits for the day ahead - although the traces of snow fall at the side of the road while driving to the venue concerned me slightly.
Track conditions were wet and cold - very slippery. That's just how I like it though, and it was great fun exploring the available grip and traction in the morning. No dramas, and after lunchtime the sun was firmly out with a clear, blue skies and a dry line had appeared. By the end of the day much of the circuit was dry. Highlight was probably sticking to the bum of a Caterham 620R for 5 laps (which was 2 up in fairness) - he wasn't going to let me past, but to be honest it's more fun chasing than being chased I think. Also did a long 40 minute stint in the afternoon. Car was faultless.
I definitely rate Cadwell as the best track I've done. The undulations, some slower corners, and the more narrow track make it perfect for a 7 IMO.

It is certainly one of the best tracks in the country. Anglesey, Croft and Oulton Park are close if you are looking for other tracks to go to.

Nice one Steve. Gutted I missed this, need to look on here more often! Glad it went well and the car came back in one piece.
