Castle Combe 25 April

Bristol Kit Car Club have asked me to post their trackday up.

It is Castle Combe on the 25 April. They have 11 places left at a cost of £170 (which is very good for CC)

They have imvited their guys who are mostly kit cars and so is a gentleman's trackday as it should not be full of crazy drivers.

IMO it is good they have opened it up to us so if anyone is interested let me know and I can put you on to Moleman (Colin)

I am going Lee and the cost is for the car and one drive. I think they are asking for a contribution to "Go Inspire" for the second driver, a tenner should do it. Chloe would like it too.

I am not sure the Ultima will be ready so I will probably be in the Catering Van

Just a slight word of caution. Combe is quite dangerous and certain corners need to be treated with a lot of respect. They also have a habit of letting a lot of people out on track at the same time for a single session which generates a lot of 'Chav' traffic.

Be aware and be prepared to park it if it gets out of hand.

I imagine that's why they asked another kit car club as opposed to it being a free for all?

Historically Combe will throw it open to the £100 Saxo brigade if all the spaces are not filled. Have a look on Youtube for 'Castle Combe Crashes'

It is one of my fav circuits but you just need to be on your toes for trackdays. Enjoy !

Bristol Kit Car Club have booked the day and it is an invite only Trackday. I do not like doing CC on action days or when it is busy but I do not mind doing the invite only days.

Guaranteed no Saxo nuts.
