I figure that by the time my car is on the road,
it should be bushy enough to stop me swallowing flies! :D

Oh well.
Bit of a dissapointing day.
The missus spoilt it as usual by being in a foul mood for I have absolutely no idea!! I am sure she will let me know what heinous crime I have commited in due course.
And I couldn't find the CKC stand. My friend very kindly texted me the location of it just as I was putting the key in the front door once we had driven home!
Should be a fun weekend here.
Red arrows were awesome though.

I feel your pain brother. We have to accept that in the main things like run outs and motorsport events are not conducive with marital bliss.

The principle of going out together sounds great but in my experience my wife, who I love dearly will simply get bored and spoil it for me because I feel I need to entertain her when all I want to do is wonder round looking at shaped tin and watch said shaped tin blat up a hill at insane speed.

Different genes and interests. Acknowledge it and compromise in other areas.

IMHO

I too feel your pain, for me it's just a complete no. Not interest; never .... Oh well I'll await my son to grow up then I can drag him to these sort of things and then have an excuses to be there.

Super day out at Goodwood on Saturday. Weather perfect. Easy getting in, easy getting out.
Great collection of cars (and motorbikes) on the hill climb. The only criticism was that they didn't time have a break from cars on the track while the Red Arrows were flying overhead. First time I've seen the Red Arrows treated as a backdrop attraction.
Anyway, that small gripe over, here are a few pix.

Good to see Mark Webber wandering about after last week's flying lessons:

I did get an idea for a mod to the Fury:

The rally stage was worth watching too, though the camera now needs a good clean after getting covered in dust:

That sounds like the day I should have had!:-(
I aggree about the red arrows though! I didnt even make it up the hill, let alone to the rally stage.
Ken Block doing doughnuts down the main straight was good entertainment though. :-)
