Matt and I are doing a MSVT day at Brands in the Min Rods Saturday 18th December

We’ve Hired a garage, just incase
Hopefully gets some good practice sessions in

I am Working again this Saturday but it looks like it goes on till 4 pm/dusk so see how I feel after work.

Great day, lots learnt with the mini rods
Damp day, but through out the day the track was drying out, so went from drifting around most corners to actually getting some speed down, with the help of changing tyres from track 17” Avons to 16” Toyo’s which seamed to work.
A couple of close calls with cars spinning in front of us. touched 2 wheels in the gravel but saved it, was able to carry on.
which eventually ended play with a sudden blanket of fog at the end of the day

Glad you both had a good day. I suppose changing conditions help in a way, but dry track is a lot easier.

Glad you have a got learning day, sorry i did not make it again, but i will keep on trying.

We are now thinking on trying to get a another session in before we go racing probably February time
Might of done some upgrades by then, watch this space

Also need to repair the tiger
Strange thing happened Saturday night after racing.
kit car parked in the garage, had to remove kit car out of garage, so I could get trailer in garage then I park kit car on trailer in the garage
Started tiger up left it running on tickover. while I moved trailer into garage. All of a sudden a massive BANG and a big plume of steam covered the kit.
Turned off the engine and removed the bonnet to find the expansion tank in two, split the plastic weld
Haven’t yet had the chance to look at it in the day light.
Fun trying to winch the car on the trailer and steer it on my own lol
