We are racing again next Saturday at Lydden. I just thought I’d let you know that they are allowing spectators in now it’s £5, you can book online or just pay at the gate. The actual racing starts at 3pm but I expect we will get there about 1.
There is a motorbike trackday on before us so you can always watch them too

Rain held off long enough for us to go racing and stay dry
I had a couple of offs but finished all races, ( went straight on even though,on full lock! at Matt’s tyre wall ) (and got pushed off the track Lewis and Max style 52g’s )
16 mini rods racing, could say it was close racing

I had a good day yesterday
Heat 1, I started in 12th and managed to finish in 7th
Heat 2, didn’t really get anywhere from 12th again but was having a good battle with another car.
Final, started in 10th and didn’t really manage to get through but again had some good battles
All comers race, me and Kev lined up on pole position and I got a good start to the race with me and another car opening up a bit of a gap from the pack till a race stoppage. On the restart I managed to hold off second place till the last lap and I made a small mistake allowing second to get up the inside so finished second.
I’ve got some work to do on the car for next time and need to try and find a bit more power from the car without cheating (engine and management has to be standard)
