Another outing in the minirod yesterday which was the long track championship (king of the hill). It was a drawn grid for the first race which was the championship race and I was started in 8th. This race went well with me still experimenting with tyre sizes but I finished 5th.
The second race I was going well and up amongst the front runners pack when someone decided my car was in the way and took me out quite hard ( apparently his brakes failed  ) which put me into the tyre wall with quite a bit of damage. When I got into the pits I found the rear suspension arm at the top bent in 2 places along with a load of body damage ( rear bumper corner missing, drivers door caved in and front bumper ripped off. A couple of us steamed in and beat the arm straight ish and cable tied some of the front bumper back on and I went out for the last race.
In the last race the back wheel not being right didn’t seem to be hurting much and I finished quite well again ( I think it was 5th might have been 6th )
I forgot to take the GoPro so no film this time but here’s some pics of the car at the end of the day

Not a bad set of results Matt considering this could only be your 3rd race day. The pictures don't show the car to be that bad ? hope you get it fixed easily enough. When is your next race?

Well done Matt, looks like you'll be near the front very soon as you keep improving in each race :D

The bodywork isn’t too bad I’ve just got to sort the bent arm on the rear suspension as the bolt is seized we didn’t have time to sort it at the track. I have also noticed today the windscreen has cracked so the A pillar must have moved too.
