I can confirm we ditched the weapons of mass destruction inclusion as they played havoc with the CoG and weight calculations :D

Not harness related.

I still have some sound deadening in the spare wheel well in the boot that needs to come out so with 2 CO² extinguishers on order that is my Saturday job this week along with the removal of the old internal roofbars that are no longer needed now the car is caged. This both reduces weight and lowers the cars centre of gravity.

Looking good, though surely you'll lower the centre of gravity, unless you could be mistaken for Lewis Hamilton now........

What you do with your weekends is entirely up to you Mike.

Well that was a long gap between posts!!!

As the world tries to kick-start I finally got to see the car for the first time in 5 months at the end of July.

Since then progress has been made.

The shell was painted internally with the cage complete
The engine bay was rebuilt with the re-constructed mounts all seam welded in along with the rest of the bay and all painted.
The subframe and suspension arms were all powdercoated and where applicable rebushed with Spherical bearings and fitted to the shell.
The new suspension was assembled at each corner loosely.
New rear brake assemblies installed and the new front brakes ordered.
The engine and box assembly was mated once the new lightened flywheel and clutch was fitted to go with the LSD and changed final drive and fitted in the engine bay.
