Who are you getting to do the wrapping work Neil?

Roll cage looks good. Is it normal to have (and forgive the non-technical description) 2 lots of stacks of cross braces like that?

And what’s with the open tube on the right? Is that to keep your umbrella in? :D

get the wrap blurred as though you're going fast when standing still.....if nothing else it'll fook Mike up when he tries to get a sharp shot

Or go stealth, tarmac colour with an Armco stripe finished with a red wheelie bin, then Mark can put all his shite in it.

Very quick update while the car is at the body shop.

The main job at this stage is to paint the interior but there are a number of prep jobs to do while it's there that save time later so work continues.
The rear quarter panel had a dent in it (which is why I got the car so cheap) that has now been repaired so the wrap will go on easier later on.

I still have some sound deadening in the spare wheel well in the boot that needs to come out so with 2 CO² extinguishers on order that is my Saturday job this week along with the removal of the old internal roofbars that are no longer needed now the car is caged. This both reduces weight and lowers the cars centre of gravity.

All this is this weekends job so the paint can go during next week (inside and the outer panel).

Which means hopefully we can get it back to the workshop for next weekend and start the engine bay conversion and build proper.

Firstly, sorry Chris I didn't see your question previously.

They do serve a purpose. If you or anyone (people associated with the build are banned from answering) can guess what it's used for, they will win a prize.
