Noticed they have tighter noise restrictions on that event (because evening?).

Don't think I'd make those in the busa. :x

The evenings are restrictive on noise. They normally follow a daytime TD or a test day
Day TD is 105dB a test day is 108dB (only rave cars and Comp licence holders on a test day) the corresponding evening sessions are 102dB and 98dB.

I'm on Wednesdays daytime TD at 105dB as the evening is just too close.

Drive by is 92dB for all of them.

Passed the static but got stopped for the drive by. I knocked it back to a max of 8k which did the trick, then 15 mins before the end wound it up till I was thrown off. The car is still in one piece which is an improvement on last time. It was still a great evening with about 1.5hrs on track.

Good man. I did the day session the other week and passed noise and after fitting a MUCH larger air filter on the car to reduce induction noise
Still a bit edgy but got through ok
I also short shifted most of the morning before giving it the full beans later
