Late to the party on this one Paul as I'm on holiday and only picking up posts between cocktails
What is the format of the Morgan race series?

Neil
The Morgan Challenge is a one make series and the Club Sport runs in class S.
There is normally a good field of 30+ but about 6 or so Club Sport Morgans.
I am looking at a few other events. BRSCC are introducing an Club Sport series (not to be confused with my car) with 45 minute races (they have two dates this year) and New Millennium will allow the Morgan to race too.
I have a place in the Race Of Remembrance (12 hrs at Anglesey) and will enter the Birkett (6 hrs Silverstone GP).
For next year I may enter a few legendary track races as they have said the Morgan can enter. They only race on circuits that have been used for GPs. They also have track days at Bilster Berg and Ascari.
I think I will dip in and do a few rather than do a championship so I can take time off and do other things like go out on runs with SKCC
But first I want to learn to drive the car. So will book some testing
I will sell the Fun Cup as I need to let a few cars go.

I would go again Jeff if they moved to Evo 3 cars, they have on the Continent, as they are more modern, better designed and more reliable.

Richard I have done a deal with Morgan for support at the races they are going to. They use Wolverhampton University for race support at the circuit and if I throw my lot in with them I also get fed (I normally eat porridge and bananas but the free flowing tea may be useful).
For some races I will just rock up and other may get PT to support.
When we did the Race Of Remembrance the Morgan’s did not miss a beat. The only adjustment on the suspension is dampers so it is pretty easy. We just refuelled the cars.
I have not thought of the prep yet.
Whatever I choose to do it will be cheaper than Fun Cup

You should get some of us to come and help.
I had a chat with a Gentleman at Brands who had an aero-screened Morgan and a) he was such a nice old boy and b) his car was beautiful. He was a serial Morgan owner. So good to see the car being driven in a spirited fashion.
Think you’ll fit in just fine Paul!
Is this (the picture) what you’ve got?
