0-110MPH in 6.61 secs

Postby jeffw » Tue Apr 23, 2019 2:36 pm

Spent Sunday at Blyton doing the Javelin sprint and in amongst some rubbish starts I got a half decent one

110mph on 150m isn't bad either.

Big numbers Jeff. Very slippery car with the right power bodes well.

Is there any way of determining cornering speeds and G loading?

Currently the driver is the limiting factor there (!) I've seen a peak of just over 2G lateral and the same under braking. Need to put my man pants on and brake to the apex and get into the throttle harder and earlier.

It is quite difficult to transition from driving a front engined non-Aero car that you have to balance on the throttle in corners to something you have to really lean on to go fast.

Not the fastest run from Blyton as I messed the start (which is really easy to do) but once it is up and running it looks pretty fast. Just under 150MPH appoaching the wiggler and 140MPH through Port Froid.

Starting to make it dance on the 2nd part of the lap.
