Surrey Satellites Wheels Day

Postby Fury1630 » Wed Jul 18, 2018 4:05 pm

Not what you'd call a large event, a guy from work puts out a call to anyone with an "interesting" car (opinions vary) & on a summer Wednesday we park up out the front & folk donate some money to Alzheimer's to have rides round the research park. There were about 15 vehicles there this year, including a new Civic type R & fifty shades of grey German cars - some Porsches & a 5 series Alpina I think - got bored just walking past them.

At the more interesting end was a 70's Fiat 124, a Healey 100, a Noble, a brand new Mustang & the Hart's show fleet - the Fury, My brothers Model A truck & my nephew's "patina'd" 2 litre Pinto 100e Anglia.

Anyone fancy turning up for charity next year?
