Maharajah's Tour July 15th
James and I are out on the Maharajah's Tour on Sunday. It's a tour starting in Watlington and finishing at Nuffield house just outside Henley. It's organised by Stoke Row Motor Club and Craven my old rally club.

Re: Maharajah's Tour July 15th
We had a great day. It started with breakfast and the drivers briefing at a Aston Park which is west of High Wycombe. At the briefing we were encouraged to leave a reminder of the event at the start. So when faced with a countdown and a flag to set us off what could I do other than a half decent rally start
The route took us up towards Bicester and then back round via High Wycombe to the finish at Nuffield. There was a real mix of cars taking part from a pre-war Bently to modern Ferrari's. We had fun chasing a Toyota Celica rally car that was, as they say, making progress along the lanes.
At the finish there was a motorsport show so as well as the cars that had participated in the tour there was a collection of race cars and historic motors on display.
All in all it was a great day

Yes, with a map for backup. There were questions to answer to proove that you had completed the route as well as a couple of passage controls.

Didn't give it much thought but I think it was a Ferrari replica. Looked good but burnt a lot of oil!
