I was trying out some different tyres which were old but I had buffed them up and given them a good few coats of tyre softener and left them for a week to soak it in.
Overall I had a good day although the tyres did seem to go off during the day (which was kind of expected as the softener wore off and the tyres look pretty tired now
)I got 3rd in the first race, I'm not sure if it was 5th or 6th in the second as there was nothing in it as we went over the line. In the final I finished 6th and in the consolation it just all went wrong and I was at the back somewhere. They don't actually give out all the finish positions till later in the week other than the top three in the final and consolation race winner which get trophies at the end of the day.
I think the next thing is to treat it to some new tyres although with only 2 meetings left this year I might just kill of all the ones I currently have and start fresh next year.
