Just thought I'd drop a little note to say hello.
I have been thinking about getting/building a kit for many years, but time and money were always in short supply. Then the perfect storm of circumstances saw a deal struck for my father in laws Tiger and she is now in my garage!
The only downside is that the cylinder head is currently sitting on the bench, with a potential sticking valve. I have refurbished the head and cannot see any evidence of the valve issue, which may have been the valve stem oil seals, now replaced. Of course, the opportunity was taken to replace the standard cam with a Newman Cams 'Ultimate Torque Cam'...
All the parts are there, so just need time in the garage to put her back together.
MOT booked for next Wednesday...
