Hi
Not 100% sure what i am doing here - but this post looked relevant
Joined the 'club' this week. Tiger R6 owner - living in Brighton. Purchased last year - Yellow / Black with 2.0 Zetec engine / webber alpha fuel system..
Joined this forum so I have another excuse to get the car out, and would be nice to meet up on the occasional evening with a few like minded people....
I have young(ish) kids - so my time is limited around their ever growing social lives...
Look forward to knowing when and where people are meeting - weather permitting (my R888's dont like rain!)
cheers
Ric

Hi Ric and welcome to the club. Your timing is perfect for evening runs too as we were just talking about it last week.
Keep your eyes open for posts on evening runs.
Once again welcome.

Hi Ric - from another r6 owner.....
if you're in/around brighton then there's a few folks down your way (russtik/rob e/tonyb) to name a few.
you'll see members runs contains any shout out for a run that anyone can join in ( and anyone can post the idea)....often there's a run on a sunday starting early and allowing those that need to get back for family 'stuff'.....
group events are as you'd expect aimed at the wider skcc community, so not so geographically limited - aside from the various tours you'll see throughout the year the odd show - such as Castle Coombe in (july??) and later in the summer - sept time we try to get a larger group together for a day out.
cheers
Mark

Hi Ric and welcome to the club, dya fancy an early Sunday run? - we've had a couple of folks join us this year as new to "Sunday mornings" and felt really welcome - with the advantage of being back home at a sensible time to spend the rest of the day with the family.
hope to see you very soon....

Re: Hi - First Post - Tiger R6 owner!
Thanks to everyone for your very quick replies! Much appreciated.
Sorry for 1001 Q's! as before - new here...
Any advice on where the best place is on the forum to keep an eye open for meeting?
I am up for Sunday mornings - now my sons football season has finished! An evening during the week should not be an issue either!

Hi Richard, I heard a Tiger owner from Brighton might be in touch as I saw Julian from Lotus Seven club last Tuesday. I presume it was you he spoke to

Hi Ric, welcome aboard...
I'm in Brighton too and have a Fisher Fury (used to have a Tiger once upon a time too). As mentioned probably the best way to get a feel for the club is drag yourself out of bed at an unearthly hour on a Sunday and join a run. It seems like madness at the time but all will become apparent once you've done it.
I suggest some sort of local run but this happened...
