Welcome David,
I take it you are thinking of buying rather than building? What you get will depend on your budget and what you want to use it for. Obviously it will need to be faster than your brother in law's though!
If you see anything that interests you why not post a link to the add and ask the general opinion on here?

I do like the look of the fury cars. If I were building a new car I'm sure that would be the way I'd go.
MkII Marlin Roadster with Ford 2.0L Pinto and Type 9 gearbox. Going for the oily rag restoration look

Holy thread revival Batman!!
After joining 4 (!!!) years ago, I'm finally on the brink of getting my first kit!! It's a Robin Hood 2B powered by a 2.0l Pinto.
I pick it up this Saturday (10/08/19) and I cannae bloody wait!!!!!
I am certainly looking forward to meeting up with some of you and going out for a spirited drive!
Hopefully, some pics of said car will be attached.

nice one.....sure you'll have fun with that. Suggest you stick up a 'who's sort of near southampton' thread ( if that's where you are )...we've had guys come and go from those parts, so an opportunity to get a little group together for socials/suns etc....
if you do, pop it in the Car Related forum, unless you're specifically shouting out a run - in which case, that goes in 'Members Runs'....but then again, you probably figured that
